Bacon Video This Week On PoundOBaconFriday

Hey wanna be baconators, here's a video for you detailing the POBF process. Enjoy. (Also, just for fun I included a transcript of the video below it.) Transcript: This week on PoundOBaconFriday: If you love bacon, then you'll want to pay close attention. To be clear, a pound of bacon is only the main course. Don't forget about the appetizer and dessert. Forgetting these 2 integral parts is the biggest mistake a new Pound O Bacon Friday student can make. Studies conducted by Pound O Bacon Friday show that to properly eat a pound of bacon with no side effects, one must first have an adequate appetizer. Studies have also shown that not including an adequate appetizer can cause the immediate need for a receptacle that will accept said bacon after it has been partially absorbed by your digestive system. You've been warned. If you attempt to eat a pound of bacon without an appetizer, please let us know beforehand so we can buy stock in Charmin and Cottonelle. As you can see, the appetizer begins with a hearty salad. This salad contains red lettuce, spinach, radishes, carrots, feta cheese, shredded cheese, and of corse tomatoes with a bit of italian dressing. Next we have a nice juicy ribeye. This steak is approximately 9.76oz or 277grams. Remember, this is just the appetizer, don't go crazy. Now it's time for the main course. There were 39 pieces of bacon in this 3 lb pack so 13 pieces should be a pound. Don't just start cooking the bacon immediately however. You don't want to get ahead of yourself in this process. It's important to make sure your bacon is as politically healthy as possible. This should cover all the bases if you have any friends or family that are health nuts. Unfortunately, specific health benefits of the ingredients are outside the scope of this video. However, the best place to start is with Crushed Red Pepper. Red pepper contains capsaicin which has many health benefits. You should also think about adding any type of other super foods that you like. However, and this is important. Only add these other super foods toward the end of the cooking process. These so called "super" foods are namby pamby when compared to the heartiness of bacon, which can withstand extreme cooking conditions quite easily. This meal included tomatoes and fresh garlic cloves. Both of which also have many health benefits. The only problem that arose was they were not added soon enough, so after removing the bacon, they required more time in the oven. As you can see, this bacon is baked, because we all know that baked foods are healthier than fried foods, right? Let's take a look at the super foods cooking. Mmmm, now if that's not healthy, I don't know what is. Plus it's delicious. Here you will see exactly what it's like to eat this garlic, red pepper, tomato infused bacon. I'll give you a moment of silence to absorb the experience. So now that we have the appetizer and main course out of the way, we can't forget dessert. This consists of the staple Cookie dough ice cream and a variety of different candy (or lollies) depending on where you live. Also, it's good to include some energy drinks which should be mixed with Pelligrino water because of it's natural health benefits. Overall, this meal has blown out all previous Pound O Bacon Friday's. PoundOBaconFriday Disclaimer: Results are not typical. Your results may vary. A pound of bacon is not for everyone.
